Cirrhosis is usually asymptomatic until the liver is severely damaged. If symptoms do occur, they may include:

● Women may experience oligomenorrhea or menopause unrelated to menopause.
● Men may experience loss of libido, testicular atrophy, or enlarged breasts (gynecomastia).
● There is confusion, drowsiness or slurred speech.
